About....
Lancaster Ceramics is run by Sarah Beresford. Sarah is a British artist working (mostly) in clay. Her practice is studio based and uses large-scale sculptural pieces inspired by feminism.
Sarah is interested in hand-built sculptural pieces and currently builds with white earthenware paper clay, to give the clay extra structural strength. Her current project is the creation of a lesbian sculpture garden. Ceramics is her second career choice.
